"Finanziellen Mittel" for the self employee

Hello

To apply the self-employee, which also reqiure the "Finanziellen Mittel", does anyone knows what's the minimum figure?

Is it must be the cash flow in my bank account? or is it also possible to use my 2nd pillar and 3rd pillar pension?

Thanks

Ct. Bern website says this regarding financial means for an EU-28 citizen wanting to become self-employed:

"Self-Employed Persons:

Foreign persons from the EU-28 who wish to pursue a self-employed activity must register with the municipality of residence in the Canton of Berne.

The following documents must be presented:

  • AHV registration confirmation or the social security form A1 (certificate of social security legislation applicable to the holder)
  • valid travel document

As proof of the necessary sufficient financial means, the person concerned must submit the following documents (exemplary list):

  • Rental agreement
  • Exact name of the company and description of the activity"
