I am trying to find a solution on how to re-direct return parcels from my home adress to another one but cannot seem to find a good one and was hoping perhaps someone on this forum had some experiences with the topic.

I am planning to open e-commerce online store next year. My home adres (close to Zurich) will be the actual office and business adress (so no actual physical store, only online sales). Since I am expecting to get returns of the ordered items (clothing), I wanted to use another adres just to re-drect them (adres would already be printed on the return label that customers will place on the package before sending out) and pick them up from that other adres.

I have two reasons for planning to do so: a. avoid having returns being delivered personally by the clients to my home adres b. not disturbing neighbors with more traffic and parcels

I have checked with Swiss Post, they do not offer this solution (only PO box for letters, which is too small for the parcels). I have checked with companies who sell domicil adresses, but they are not interested (they would rather take on the whole post management service and re-send the packages to me with CHF8 per package on top of monthy fee, which does not make sense). The busines will be too small (especially at the begining) to outsource the whole logistic part (fullfilment services).

Nothing else comes to my mind apart from perhaps going to local private business shops around and asking if that would be an option. But I guess the charge for it is too small for them to be interested.

So if anyone has better idea or actual experience in the subject please share. Thank you!!

It doesn't look like you need a re-direct service, just an address you can rent to receive any returns, and that address will be on the label. Short of renting an actual office or small business unit, I can only suggest asking a local business to help you. But of course they would have to have your business name on their door/post box. (or maybe a c/o ABC GmbH for example)

Maybe the MyPost 24 service could do the trick. If you register there, you can use the 24/7 accessible machine as a delivery address. I haven't used it but seems to be free service for receiving and in 2020 and 2021 a slightly cheaper service for sending packages:

That's not for businesses though, only private individuals. But I guess if the OP is a self employed business instead of a GmbH, she could just put her personal name down as the return address.

Hello again. A bit of an update - after I have registered with PickPost or Post24 I have received my personal ID. So if I would have included this personal ID on the return label of the goods together with the adres of my nearest post, it would have worked. I could have picked the return packages up from the post any time. But the lady from the customer service at post was very clear in saying that it is only for the private customers. I do not think I will push this further, better not to mess with the Swiss Post :-)
