Dragon's Den

Hey everybody!

Just found out that there'a TV series called Dragon's Den in the UK.. and it's so good! It's all about entrepreneurs showing their ideas to a jury of investors. Lot's of good info/advice there..

cheers
Ann

Two of my accountancy clients have been on Dragons Den.

1) Was a web based business www.stylebible.com owned by no money stuck up Amanda who was out within 37 seconds I recall.

2) Was the most pointless baby item I could think of and they gave her credit for it but no dosh. www.thecosyshopper.co.uk

My advise would be if they are willing to give you funding go and get the money from somewhere else. They will milk it like Venture Capitalists.

Re: Dragon's Den

Dragons Den has been running since January 2005. Some of the older shows can be seen on Sky channel 111 Dave TV.

There’s also an online version.

I didn't get into it until quite recently. I am now totally addicted and love it. I like the politics between the dragons too.

There is so much greed. If one of the dragons is interested, so often another wants to be in, just incase they might miss out on something.
