Re: Starting a new business

First of all thank you very much for your werthful advice and I will stick on to it.
I'm a Sri Lankan living in canton Schwyz. I have an idea of starting a shop with lots of asian products, you might have seen such shops in Zurich. My idea is to make it in the swiss style. Not like the usual Sri lankan shops you see. Main customers I'm looking for are Swiss as I dont have much native people in my region.

Re: Starting a new business

Some questions spring to mind:
Are you able to work in Switzerland?
Visas, if necessary, in place?
Health insurance?
What languages do you speak?
Are you allowed to run a shop from where you wish? (apartment building)
online shop or walk-in store?

There are so many uncertainties, but being self employed is certainly rewarding (most of the time).
good luck

I am married to a swiss lady, I have the B permit, German language is for sure no problem for me as I keep learning that.In this region german is the main language.(I am good in swiss german too).

I could not find a propper place to start the shop though I have a place which is out of the town, which was functioning as a BIO LADEN they shifted.

Online shop was also something I thought of but not sure how much will it help me if look not only for the swiss customers.
