English speaking Treuhänder/Lawyer in Zug

Hi there,

I've searched through the forum and haven't been able to find the answer to my specific question.

I'm getting organized to start up an AG company and looking for some recommendations for English speaking professionals (accountant and lawyer) located in Zug. I need to put together a team that is very familiar with both Swiss/German business law and taxation issues.

I'd be very grateful to anyone can pass on the contact info of English speaking professionals working in this area.

Invest in some intensive German lessons and then you have far more choice of layers and acountants !

I've been here for 2 months and yes of course I am taking German lessons but I am a beginner and I need people with specialized knowledge.

After all this is an English speaking forum so I thought it would be an appropriate place to ask other members for recommendations to professionals who can offer bi-lingual services.

Good for you ! I just meant that by taking the effort to learn the language, theat you obviously are, you get a far larger choice and tend not to be screwed so badly !

I agree that it is important to learn the language but at this stage of the game some things are just simply over my head. I've met with a couple of professionals last week and it was a challenge to communicate effectively from both sides, that is why I am looking for recommendations from forum members.

Regards.

Hi there 33foxglove

I worked in Zug some years ago. Lovely Kanton . . .

Did you see this thread on the Forum already? It's a bit dated but could possibly be of some help in parts - http://www.englishforum.ch/business-...-zug-area.html

Also, did you try the Kanton Zug Migration Office? They may well be able to assist - http://www.zug.ch/www.zug.ch/behoerd...dvisory-office

This also looks interesting - http://www.zug4you.ch/legalbusiness.html and http://www.zug4you.ch/doing_business_in_zug_247.html

I hope these suggestions help and good luck / well done with your taking German lessons.

Regards
Ishaka

While it of course is nice that you are up to learn German, there are heaps of English speaking lawyers and accountants and notaries in Zug, actually all of that business speak/understand English, so that I fail to see your problem

Zug is full of Treuhänder companies. I know one where they do speak English:

I guess most of them would speak English.

From my experience, many fiduciaries (Treuhänder) in Zug and the region will be able to provide services in German and English.

Check out this: http://www.treuhandvergleich.ch/treu...altung-Zug.htm

Hope this helps.

Consider leotrade.ch -- English is no problem there.

Could also try finding one through startups.ch. They have good English and can refer you to Zug specialists.

Thank you to all that have replied. This gives me some very good leads to follow. Perhaps it's a tall order but as well as English I'm looking to put a team of advisors together that frequently deal with cross border (Germany/Switzerland) business laws and taxes.

I will let you know who I ultimately decide upon and their areas of competency.

Thanks again for your input.

I don't have a problem. I'm simply seeking recommendations from other forum members who have experience in this area especially relating to English speaking advisors experienced with cross border business laws and taxes (Switzerland<>Germany).

Hallo again 33foxglove

You are very welcome and I wish you the very best on this. I do not think what you are wanting to do is such a tall order at all and that with the right legal / financial expert advice you will certainly get there.

Whilst researching earlier on another matter, quite by chance I came across this link to the Zug International Business Forum - http://www.zibf.biz/forum/index.php - and which could also be helpful in your endeavours.

Regards
Ishaka
