Matthew Hardy - Have seen this guy in London - very funny but to get some of his humour you have to be familar with Aussie celebrities.

Material used is very often adapted / specific to the local audience. I understand this is also the case for this week's stand up shows across the country

I'm still applausing and my dog is looking at me like I'm a crazy woman.

I would tell all the Baselers who missed it to get their lazy asses to Zurich tomorrow, but honestly, I'm just not sure it will be the same?! I mean, where the heck did that bloke with the guitar come from? And after the show he was just playing and singing outside and people singing and dancing with him. Damn, and I was so low on energy after the curry night... I would have stayed there until the sun came up!

Pure awesomeness. That was one great show!

Gian Luca was a polite and stage smart young busker who Matthew met on the street and invited up to contribute to the show. Sure enough, youth trumped experience with some pretty funny lines of his own. B!tch slapping with the comment 'Red Hot Chili Peppers aren't rock; they're funk' had even Matthew in tears.

Great audience as ever Basel and always worth the trip on the magic carpet. Thanks for a fun night!
