Teoh's Restaurant will be preparing Hainan Chicken Rice and Penang Prawn Noodle soup for those who crave for Penang food.There will be a malaysian singaporean table, just hop in and join us. Uncle Teoh has agreed to cook these dishes when we are 10 people or more.
To go to Teoh's just either take the Tram 14,3 from Bahnhofplatz Tram 2,9 from Bellevue or Paradeplatz, get off at Stauffacher. just opposite Starbucks there is a street called Bäckerstrasse, just walk down the street until you see some laterns outside. Hope to see you then. If you fancy conversing in Hokkien or Teo Chew .... you will feel at home at

I forgot to add that this event will take place in the evening from 18.00 hrs onward.

What's the deal foodwise if there are less than 10 people? Thanks. The "Hainan Chicken Rice and Penang Prawn Noodle soup" sound very nice indeed but per your post this will only be prepared if there are 10 or more people. Right?

How it works with Uncle Teoh is that if you have a big group of people, you can request for certain dishes - in this case, OP has done with chicken rice and prawn noodles soup.

So the dishes have already been prepared for OP and her group and there will definitely be extras, so she has extended this information for anyone on EF who might want to come along as these dishes arent usually on the menu.

If you havent tried it before, its worth the trip

Unfortunately in bed with the flu. Hainan chicken rice is one of my favorite dishes. Do they serve it on their normal menu? Can I get it whenever I go there. Anyone got a link to their menu?
