City/Town: Cressier, Neuchâtel
Event Type: Exhibition
Location: Cressier place du village

Hi all,

I guess this goes in the commercial section, though I'm not working for the fête or anything! There's a wine festival in a village near Neuchâtel called Cressier this weekend coming. Lots of activities, wine tasting etc, goes on until late (so somebody from the village tells me). Plus, to top it off, I will be playing in a marching band on the Saturday (I have never marched and played simultaneously in my life, so that could be funny to watch) and even funnier, I will be playing a tenor horn rather than what I actually play (a French horn), so I might sound like a big, walking fart.

Details are here if anyone's interested!
RSVP'd Yes: 2 (1 members and 1 guests) RSVP'd Maybe: 9 (3 members and 6 guests)
  • amaraya + 2 guests - ahh, thought it was last saturday! we may make it if we get finished with baseball!
  • MusicChick + 2 guests - Depends on highways...
  • Belgianmum + 2 guests - We'll probably cycle along there to see you play.
RSVP sign-ups for this event are now closed.

Ok, so none of you came, and you missed out! It was great, really, really enjoyable. Try and make it to the next one.
So sorry we didn't make it either. The cat had an accident and we had to take her to the vet. Not easy to do on a Saturday and very expensive.

Glad you had a good time. We were looking forward to seeing you play and wouldn't even have had to drive so could have enjoyed the odd glass of wine or two. (hopefully without falling in the canal on the way home)

I turned up here, and there wasn't sight nor sound of you, or any kind of event taking place anywhere - wine drinking, musical or otherwise.

I waited and waited - sold my horn for a tenner, had an ice cream in a cornet, and then had a game of Top Trumpets.

Eventually gave up and went home.

I am glad you had a good time, wine festivals can be real fun!

Yes I am sorry to let you down, I sent you an SMS at 8pm.

I was invited to the Dutch club's celebration, and the 1,5 hour train journey to Cressier was not very attractive!

The problem with wine and beer festivals is that you cannot drink and drive!

Please keep posting, and I will keep on looking for a teatotal driver!

I have organised 2 things on EF and nobody came, so I do know the feeling!
That's ok, I wasn't abandoned or anything. One of my work colleagues came with some friends, then when they left I hung out with the other band members. Sorry, I did get your text (right in the middle of my delicious horseburger dinner arriving... I meant to text back!).

As far as going back in the middle of the night goes... I didn't go home until yesterday afternoon!

Oh no!!! Maybe I should have stated that there are two Cressiers. You obviously went to Fribourg, not Neuchâtel. I appreciate you making the effort and I'm so sorry you ended up in the wrong place! To be honest, I forgot there was another Cressier.

I also appreciated the brass jokes.
