“Zug: Tax vs. Service Centre”
US television, government intervention and widely publicised cases have thrown Switzerland and their tax and data protection policies into the public spotlight. Zug has long been known for its low tax and has attracted many international businesses. But the competition and pressure is not just from outside, other local cantons have also changed their tax policies and the competition for international business is huge. Where does Zug officially stand on this? Will it continue to focus on tax? Matthias Michel,
Chairman of the Cantonal Government will be giving us, in this short breakfast presentation, his views about tax and telling us what he believes to be the key selling points for Zug. Which may not, incidentally, just be tax.
Sign up now and take advantage of this opportunity to hear the highest political officer in the Canton of Zug talk about the Cantonal government’s stance on tax and location competition.
Participation fee (including VAT): CHF 48.-- for members and their guests and CHF 65.-- for non-members. (VAT No: 354 166). No payments can be taken on the day of the event.
