I tried haggis for the first time this weekend in Scotland. It was delicious!!!

Not sure if I'll opt for it on Sunday seeing as there is already so much on offer but for anyone that is reluctant to try it, I would really encourage you to have a taste. Nom nom nom
haggis in the summer?.... I thought the haggis season was primarily November-to-February .... it's cruel to take them during breeding season.

Yeah that's what we found at the last one, no eggs left, no bacon left. Pretty much all there was was black pudding, beans and pancake batter. Still decent, but not a vast feed I was hoping for

Getting there earlier is verrry unlikely (will be out "celebrating" after the hurling tournament til the wee small hours) and while I reckon a greasy fry is definitely called for to soak up the hangover, I'm having a hard time selling it to the OH based on the last one we came to

Ok, food is ordered and they should be well enough until 1pm ! Go on Terry a wee last effort

You can grab him by his ponytail (if he still has it).
Last time I went out and about with simon_ch, I ended up in a redneck bar somewhere in Zurich with the confederate flag on the wall and a sawed off tree trunk in the middle of it, where you could prove your manhood by hammering nails into the wood.

BUUUUUUUUUMP!

Looking forward to seeing everyone on Sunday. I'll be challenging mirfield to trivial pursuit tonight and Saturday to brush up on my general knowledge

and eating masses of food to stretch my tummy to accomodate Terry's helping of brekkie

How are people getting to this godforsaken place?

I'm coming by Train. Usually the best option.
And as the address is "Station Street", I'm hoping it's nearby.........

It's to the left of the station on the opposite side of the road when you leave the main exit. You really can't miss it.
