The stand looks great grumpy, I hope you have a successful day. I was a bit optimistic, thought I might make it to the farmers market in St Louis with adrianlondon and then head over to Zurich, but we've just got back, I'm tired and, er, "glowing" from the bike ride with a rucksack fully loaded with lovely fresh, cheap produce, so I won't make it over there. Hopefully on the 2nd though. All the best.

Just missed my train. Now I know none of the doors open in the final minute before
We'll get there eventually |

thank you | | | | | I fully concur. The Blackbier is my kind of beer (dark), but as I told the guys at the stand, Linth Maisbier is just PERFECT. It is rare to find a light beer with such a texture, and the taste and smell are superlative.
Many thanks to GG for the delicious lunch . I am happy to report that all the cheeses, fudge and beers made it through the train ride and safely to my parents' home. My family all loved the godminster and the stilton, but my parents were unable to try the beers because my brother, his wife and I...ehm...managed to hide them
Cheers, looking forward to the Ploughman's Lunch in September!

from the "just raising awareness" files: today's Zueritipp has a write-up of some of the more popular microbrews from in and around Zurich like Amboss and Bier Paul. | Quote: | | | | | Beer is not just fizzy, watery lager.
...
There are various micro breweries rising to prominence across the country and it would be lovely to have local bars providing a selection of international, national and local beers, rather than the nasty 'choice' currently on offer in most Swiss bars / restaurants. | | | | | | This user would like to thank Bartholemew for this useful post: | |
