Still some tickets left for this event. Get the chance to hear one of the founders of Tibits and tuck in to a special buffet that will have been put on for this event. You won't even have to weigh your food!

Goodness!

Fr.85.-, you need a credit card, there's a fine for late cancellation, explicitly only on-line registration, and all for a 1/2 speech?!?

I am actually interested, but that's too many hurdles.

Re: Tibits: The Inside Story, Basel

If you would like to attend and are unable to register online please send me your email address and I can send you a form to fill out.

If you register and cancel before the 16th September there will be no cancelation charge.

As a non-profit organisation, we need to have a minimum number of participants registered before we can let an event go ahead, hence the need to register with credit card details beforehand.

As I mentioned in my post above, English Forum members can attend at the rate of CHF 65 - this covers the cost of food, drinks, venue, administration and speaker.

Hope this helps and that you will be able to attend!

65chf to cover food for a commercial presentation by the same food company ??

Is this a joke ?

I would expect to be fed for free and to have it covered by the Tibits promotional budget.

Put that on your plate and weigh it.

I think you've got it wrong, it's not a Tibits commercial event, it's an event for the BSCC which is hiring Tibits both as speaker and venue.

If you have interest in opening restaurants here, or even better, here AND in UK, or if you've owned a business there (particularly restaurant) and have interest in opening one here, it's probably worthwhile to go to the event.

Re: Tibits: The Inside Story, Basel

What is in the VAT? Is it wine or beer?

This is far too expensive for me, especially with all the conditions. I think CHF 20,-- would be reasonable for EF members.

Does that include gift shops?

Not a good idea. Very little repeat business here with gift shops.

Re: Tibits: The Inside Story, Basel

Just to be clear - this is an event organised by the BSCC, not Tibits.

If I was to open a restaurant I am not sure I would follow the Tibits model - it is so expensive I don't put much on my plate and leave hungry.
