Hello all,

If anyone is interested, I will be playing in the Fanfare de Cressier's annual concert on the 24th March. I can't remember off the top of my head exactly what time it starts, but I believe it's around 6:00 or 6:30pm. We've got a nice little programme and you get to see me wearing a horrible, completely unflattering uniform. Plus drinks and socialising afterwards (almost no-one in the band itself speaks English, so a good opportunity to practise your French - or I'm there, if not!). Entry is free (although I think donations and/or buying refreshments are somewhat expected). You are not obliged to pay anything, anyway.

The programme is varied, and includes marches, film music (my absolute favourite is a little selection from La Soupe aux Choux), other little bits and bobs, and some classic British brass band music. If you're into/know brass band music... Orient Express by Philip Sparke.

Erm... that's about all the info for now, I think. Should be a nice little soirée, so please do come along!

Re: Fanfare de Cressier concert

*bump* if anyone who is potentially interested didn't see.

I have a rehearsal starting at 9am on Sunday! How dare they not have taken St. Patrick's Day into consideration?

Just to say - don't think the concert is starting until about 8pm! My mistake... So yeah, if anyone does want to come, it might be an idea to turn up around 7:45 rather than 6...
