Re: Photography workshop -Zurich

What sort of previous knowledge are you assuming for these courses?

For example, I pretty much know how f-stops work and depth of field and all that stuff (my first camera was an all-manual Praktika so this was almost the first thing I had to come to grips with) so I would probably be bored having all that explained to me again. But learning some advanced nifty stuff would certainly be of interest. Studio photography, for example, is certainly something I'd like to learn more about.

Also, what are minimal assumptions for your course in terms of equipment?

Re: Photography workshop -Zurich

The workshop covers all aspects of photography from the first lesson, which is a basic how does your camera work class, we then go on to cover , landscape photography, portrait photography, studio lighting etc etc. I teach more about how to use your camera more effectively, and how to find the photograph you want. Teaching various aspects of composition, how to crop , how to find the photograph, how to use light to best effect. The workshop also covers studio photography and lighting. Each weeks workshop has practical homework to cover and critique is give on each weeks work.
There are no minimal requirements for the type of camera you have, because i teach you how to use the equipment you have. Each workshop is tailored to the requirements of the participants.

I hope this answers your questions.
K
