Zürich - Fall Wine & Food Course, Sept. 27

Hello Everyone...

We have 2 spaces available for our Fall Wine & Food course this Friday evening beginning at 18:30 in Zürich-Oerlikon.

We are planning an exciting evening matching wines with our multi-course seasonal menu. We will be serving five courses and matching two wines with each course...so, there will be plenty of opportunity to learn some key points in matching wine with food. Our menu for the evening will include:

Natural Duck Liver Tartlette
Roast Pigeon with Black Lentils
Butternut Squash Ravioli with Green Walnut-Parsley Pesto
Cinghiale in Dolceforte (wild boar in sweet-sour sauce) with Schupfnudeln
Apple-Pear-Fig Strudel with Vanilla Sauce

Cost for the course is CHF 125

I did this course a while back and I can wholeheartedly recommend it. Not only are you taught how to match wine to all those delicious autumn foods, you get to taste those foods that are beautifully prepared by Jack. Jack and Silvia are amazing fountains of food/wine knowledge and great fun too, you meet new and interesting people who are passionate about food and come away with lots of new ideas and having eaten and drunk lovely things.

Take public transport though, no sense in being moderate with the excellent wine! It's easy to reach, not far from Oerlikon train station.

No, I am in no way affiliated with Jack other than being a big fan of his ventures and cooking.
