Best way to get to Morges on that day is by Train unless you are actually bringing a british car as the town is small and parking will be a disaster unless you get there early. The park by the lake is less than 5 mins walk from Morges Train station and is a fast service to Lausanne then a short change from Zurich SBB.

This gives you just a small taste Elee. This is in the gardens behind the chateau. https://www.google.ch/search?q=briti...sgnFunBQkZM%3A
Cars are also parked along the lakeside and in nearby side streets and people just stroll up and down viewing them all. There'll be about 1,600+ cars there in total.

They take over nearby playing fields and have enough marshals to keep things in good order. As there's no real start and finish time, people come and go throughout the day, so you can always somewhere to park but you might have to walk for five minutes to get to the lake.

Is this generally considered to be one of the better/best British oriented shows in Switzerland?

Just the signs into the public car park nearest to the show and then hope there's still some space left. |

Right, orders have just come from On High.... (as in #1 son has finally pulled his finger out and organised his kids).
Two classic Minis will now be leaving Geneva to attend the rally, but not until the afternoon.
If anyone wants to meet up then pm me before twelve tomorrow and I'll send you a mobile phone number. Otherwise, fingers crossed they've lied about the rain!!!

OH was late to our wedding, #1 son was ten days late being born, #2 over three weeks!!!
Bank.... no just planning on nicking some doors.

I would be a bit easier to spot with my foil hat and cigar but I have planned an enjoyable day dismantling an E-Type (everything forward of the firewall) which will take about as long as the trip to Morges and back.
Kind of annoying, I didn't realise the date until it was too late.

It used to be easy when grumpygrapefruit had his British cheese stall there. Find the stall and you'd find the EFers.
We'll be getting there around 9.30am so the only suggestion I can make is that I'll wear my Celebrate Oklahoma t-shirt, it's brown with Oklahoma stuff on it so maybe you can spot me somewhere along the way. We start at the chateau end and then go down the lake, wander back up to have lunch at Le Fukuoka, a Chinese/Japanese restaurant not far from the chateau around 11.45am-noon. Then after lunch we wander through the gardens behind the chateau before heading back to our car and home again.

Well, eventually decided not to even attempt going, consensus being that the grotty weather wouldn't be good for the girls.
And #1 son thought his daughters might also whinge a bit about getting wet.
Will try again next year!!!!!!
