Location: ISOZ, Walterswil, Baar

International Day 2008 will be a fantastic day of entertainment for all the family with 11 different international food stalls and lots of great games for the children, including a 9.5 meter high super slide, 7 meter high climbing wall and a 4 station trampoline.

For the smaller visitors we have three bouncy castles including one for the tots and a traditional carousel. For the brave this year we have a Bucking Bull. There are also sideshow games such as Golf Chipping, Goal Scoring, Basketball Hoops as well as our Welly Wang (throwing gum boots for all you non Brits).

The food is great too...

Have you every tried an Australian Burger washed down with an American Margarita?

A glass of fine French champagne with your British Bacon sandwich.

Falafel from the mysterious Middle East and classic Bor-wors from South Africa

Or even some Scandinavian canapés accompanied by a Thai Singha beer!

Of course finished off with something sweet, try a Stroopwafel from The Netherlands with a nice cup of German coffee.

Whilst relaxing, enjoying your preferred choice send the kids to the Italian for their fresh Pizzas and ice lollies...

During the day there will be opportunities to see the ISOZL children perform with music and performances from the kids and special band performance from some of our parents. We also have Bollywood dancers from International School of Basel, a Hip Hop dance troupe and a demo from the Kung Fur classes. There will be a football tournament held during the day as well. Lots of fun for all the family.

We also have a Grand Raffle and Tombola.

Tickets for all the attractions can be purchased at the ticket booth all day.

Parking is free. Parking attendents will direct you where to park. If possible car share.

  • CH_Me - Bad luck in chosing the same day as the open day at the Schlosspark Buonas, The Zug Expat Day (now cancelled due to the weather) and the Rowing Regatta at Cham. Pity thath it looks like rain too :-(
RSVP sign-ups for this event are now closed.

Hi Everyone and thanks to all who attended this great event today.

The weather was kind (only raining after we packed it all away) and we had record attendance this year.

Thanks to all who made this a great day for the kids while raising money for good causes. See you all next year.

Ashley
