Looking forward to the whole thing, and absolutely looking forward to the Dark Crystal Special, saw it first when I was a kid and it got released made such impression that I am still hooked on it. What an incredible masterpiece.

Indeed. Comics and fantasy stuff is definitely not my bag, but I went a couple of years ago and it made for a fun and interesting afternoon.

the normally have a whole floor of gaming stuff, all the consoles, PC stuff, lots of very very high end pc gaming rigs, VR etc. Also loads of movie stuff, The new Alien movie had a great display last year - was way better then the actual film

I'd say I'm a nerd, but on the rationalist/hard scifi side rather than fantasy and I'm not a Japanese schoolgirl, so I'm not into cosplay.

I think I'll pop along though, since it's only a short trip across the water (there may even be a ferry available...).

Nope nothing to do with x1 although they did use my soldering iron last year to fix their forklift to be able to unload everything
