V special offer - Sail the Greek islands from just Fr 300 per person

We have a very special offer to fill our last places of the season sailing the Greek islands of the Ionian Sea, as we’d like to be able to pay for Cloud Nine’s winter storage

3-night short break 14-17 Sept – CHF 300 per person
7 nights 21-28 Sept – CHF 600 per person
7 nights 28 Sept - 5 Oct - CHF 500 per person
7 nights 5-12 Oct – CHF 500 per person
Min. 2 people per booking

September/October is the very best time to sail in Greece – warm waters and quieter ports.

As these prices represent a “slash’n’burn” on our normal pricing, breakfast options are limited to cereals (there are plenty of cooked options on land), but all other yachting offerings are included, namely:

+ The services of the Skipper/RYA Instructor and Mate/Host
+ Welcome apero
+ The yacht incl. all safety equipment (lifejackets etc.) along with dinghy and outboard
+ Any informal yachting instruction you want – no experience necessary, learn as much or as little as you like
+ 2 towels per person & bedlinen
+ Final cleaning of the yacht
+ VAT

Prices do not include flights, transfers, evening meals, fuel contribution (€ 25 per person) and the usual supplement of CHF 250 per student applies if you want to take a formal RYA course (Start Yachting, Competent Crew or, if you already have the theory knowledge, Day Skipper).

All we ask in return for these silly prices is that you post how much fun you’re having on your social media feeds!

And if you’d like a small idea of what it’s all about:

PM me for more info and to book!

Where in Greece do you sail from? / Where would one need to fly to?

We sail out of Nidri on Levkas island/Lefkada in the Ionian. The nearest airport is Preveza (PVK) with direct flights from Germany and indirect from Zurich. Many people also fly to Athens and take the (very posh, fully air-conditioned) bus across, or even a connecting flight to Preveza.

More travel info here:

And some maps of our sailing area here, to give perspective:

And in case you're wondering what it's like, here's a guest's trip report from last year on a short break:

If you can't make it, please feel free to pass this offer on to anyone you think might be interested. And we're open for bookings for next year too.

Re: V special offer - Sail the Greek islands from just Fr 300 per person

I've just been looking at flight options on Condor from STR to PVK (trains to STR are very good) for some who has enquired and thought I'd let you know that Tuesday-Tuesday is also an option for us and the flights are much cheaper if you avoid the weekend. It has the added benefit of avoiding the usual changeover days in Greece, and allows us to visit our favourite ports and islands when they are quieter.
So what's keeping you from taking advantage of an unbeatable offer?!

Easyjet Basel to Athens (and then bus) and even Milan Malpensa to Corfu (if you fancy extending your holiday a bit) are also good options.

Also, as we're reasonably flexible on start days, if you can get yourself to the UK, our partner school has some cheap flight deals from Gatwick on Sundays

Just a quick bump as we still have some last places to fill - anyone? It's still hot down here and the water is a fabulous temperature for swimming.
