St Patricks Day: Friday 17th March

This Friday the official European St Patrick's Day celebrations are taking place at Münsterhof next to the Fraumunster. It all kicks off at 10:00 and goes on until 23:00. The reason for the plug here is that the Zurich Hurling team, Ineon, will have a stand at the event in a bid to recruit new members. They are the current European champions. You don't need to be Irish to join (half the team are Swiss or other nationalities), just be willing to train with the team, have fun and if you are picked to play for the team travel round Europe going to tournements. Drop by from 12:00 to say hello to the guys and find out more if you are interested.

Lou

You don't have to be Irish but being able to drink like a fish probably helps

Try adding an event to the calendar and linking it to your event for great exposure.

I've added a link from you calendar entry back to this thread to allow people to find this thread from the calandar. If you look in the calendar you'll see what I mean. You should also see the event appear at the bottom of the front page.

They are recruiting players for their Hurling team! Those guys have fewer teeth than ice hockey players. They must be mad, it's the most dangerous sport around!

It's not that bad Gooner, my husband still has all of his

The team has a compulsory helmet wearing rule so teeth and heads are well protected to ensure no interference with the drinking after the tournements.

Thanks Mark.
