I can't come (I need at least one night in this week, if only to finish off the cheese in the fridge), but my posting the fact that I can't come will bring this back to the top of the page, so may I be forgiven?

I'm in a huff now............. | | | | | Because Zurich is the Great Metropolis of Switzerland.
As opposed, for example, to some little village a little too close to the Welschland where the Bundeshaus happens to be located... | This user groans at for this post: | |

And RC and DB. Please behave children!
I still have a few places left for thi Friday and I'm thinking of doing another one next Thursday evening if that's a better night for any of you - please PM or e-mail me if you'd like to come. Similar format as this one.
There is also a couple being planned with Spiffing Ales, both at our place and Bobs on the other side of the lake.

Just one space left if anyone is interested. The cheese menu will be:
Westcombe West Country Farmhouse PDO Cheddar
Lincolnshire Poacher Vintage Cheddar
Godminster organic Cheddar
(all 3 very different)
Hawes Mature Wensleydale (so different from supermarket Wensleydale)
Duddleswell West Sussex Organic Sheep
Ticklemore Devon Goat
Dunsyre Blue from Lanarkshire
Shropshire Blue from... er Nottinghamshire actually |

Thanks Mike for a wonderful night. It was informative, yet casual. The cheese was amazing and the accompanying stories wonderful. I am still high from the Lanark Blue. And it was great to taste some real cheddars.
Cheers,
HB
