Re: Openair St Gallen

Just received the "you bought tickets last year so here's this year's programme" e-mail and was about to post the same message myself. Looks like I need to get up earlier

I'm definitely going - if only to see Ollie Pocher

Re: Openair St Gallen

I've never been but since my boyfriend lives in St. Gallen and gave me a completely flabberghasted look when I stated my shortcomings festival-wise, I guess this is a good year to start...

Re: Openair St Gallen

Hi - I'm hoping someone can help us, but I reckon we might be a lost cause. We have just inherited some tickets for the entire weekend due to a late cancellation. We're looking for accommodation in the St. Gallen area since the missus and I would rather hotel it than camp in the rain.

Any one got any ideas? I've tried lots of hotel sites, but everyone seems to be booked up (surprise surprise.....).

Re: Openair St Gallen

Anyone know if it's still possible to get the three day tickets? I left it a little late and now the online ordering has ended...

If my terrible german is correct, I can get tickets from any Swiss train station, this right?

Further to this, if tickets are still available, does it include camping spot?

Re: Openair St Gallen

Hi

Can anyone tell me how far the car parks are from the camp site ground at St.Gallen this weekend? Is it a long treck from car park to camping? Is it adviseable to get there early on Friday to secure good camping spots

Thanks
Nicky

All the info you need for St Gallen is here (site is in German)

http://www.openairsg.ch/news/index.php

If you go into info and camping it basically says that camping is free from 10am Friday until 10pm Sunday.

Hope this helps!

Re: Openair St Gallen

does anyone know the answer to my previosu post re parking? sorry to be impatient but just trying to plan whether I can take more or less stuff with me, don't want to be hiking miles with lots of gear to carry if the car parks are not near by. I've looked at website and had someone (who speaks german) look for the info for me but there was noo mentioned of distance etc...

Any info would be greatly appreciated

Cheers
Nicky

Re: Openair St Gallen

I really want to go to this, so many awesome bands!

My problem is, I'm new here, live in Basel on my own but haven't been able to make any curry socials and meet people yet, people at work are very family orientated, so I'm a bit Billy no mates still. I don't really want to go on my own, but I'm considering just going on the sunday as a daytrip by train. Saturday appeals too, but I have no camping gear (and am still a bit scarred by my last festival camping experience).

So I guess what I would like to know is, are any forumers meeting up and if so, please can I join you?
