Want to explore all that Switzerland has to offer and meet fun, like minded people at the same time? Join a Babel Travel Swiss Weekend Adventure!

Whether you’re new to Switzerland or just want to make the most of your weekends, why not join Babel Travel on one of our weekend adventures.
Travelling in small groups of 5 to 15, we visit off-the-beaten-track destinations to give you that unique experience. Our adventures are not only fun and affordable, but are a great way to learn about this country whilst meeting new people at the same time.

Kevin Pollard, Founder of Babel Travel, has specifically designed these itineraries to cater for everyone’s needs and interests. Each itinerary is varied, and more importantly, is organised for you, taking the hassle out of planning a weekend yourself. Kevin guides these adventures himself. Whether it’s trekking through scenic mountain regions, exploring medieval cities or enjoying traditional Swiss cultural events, Babel Travel will show you a side of Switzerland you’ll never forget. Trips leave Basel early on Saturday morning, retuning on Sunday evening, this way keeping costs low. Trip prices range from 32 to 230 CHF and include return transport, accommodation, entry fees and special events.

The 14th Babel Travel trip of the year starts on July 31st. Its the Zermatt & Hiking the Matterhorn trip.

Below is a short description;

Take a deep breath on arrival in Zermatt and get yourself ready for the spectacular views! Mighty rivers of ice carved out and shaped this area, just as they still do today. The panoramic view is stunning; on one side you can see the Monte Rosa massif (4634m) and on the other, the Matterhorn (4478m). Zermatt is a fascinating alpine world with lush meadows and deep blue lakes; a perfect place for hiking or simply taking time out.

The per person price is 170 CHF. This price covers transport, hostels/hotels, tour guide and all entry fees and activities.

For more information, or to book visit: www.babeltravel.com, or contact Kevin at kevinp@babeltravel.com or on 076 247 23 26
RSVP sign-ups for this event are now closed.
