Ian, you don't say what time this brekky starts. Promise me you wont cook the blackpudding in the microwave. Some greasy spoon did that in Liverpool and it was disgusting.

Re: The Great British Breakfast Buffet

Sounds like a winner to me Ian. I've been to a few of your brekky events before (a couple of years back) and was well pleased.

Count me in!!

Hope to meet a couple of fellow forum members also. FWIW The Penny Farthing is about one minutes' walk from the main train station so what are you waiting for? Let's meet up!!

Hello Chaps,

Sorry that you can't make this one, but believe me; if this is a success, it shall become a regular feature.

Please keep an eye open at all times for our events announcements on;
http://www.pennyfarthing.ch/events.htm

See you all on Sunday

ps. Not sure yet, but maybe getting some Crumpets in. (Pieclets for all you poncy Southerners!!!)

Ian

Re: The Great British Breakfast Buffet

Hey, a crumpet is different to a pieclet.
Crumpets are about a centimetre thick whereas a pieclet is thin like the scottish Drop Scone.

My question is where do you get your black pudding from?

Re: The Great British Breakfast Buffet

Hello Guys,
Thanks for coming down today and making the Breakfast Buffet the great a success. Egerkingen, Basel and Zürich must be very boring places on a Sunday morning. Many thanks to Forum vetrans "Over the Rainbow" (supppliers of quality butcher products) for the great service - and those Black Puddings, Oh, my dear; they were fabulous!!!!!!
