And I'll be there as usual with lots of good cheese, including 3 very different cheddars!

Re: 5th Expat-Expo Zurich

Definitely worth a visit, just got back, all the leads I need, some Interesting stalls. maybe too many people/stalls trying to be a one stop shop for the Expat though. Got me some excellent cheddar from GG , same league as Mull but softer and just scrummy. Some bacon from the expat greengrocer stall and enough pens to last a lifetime.

It's a lovely day, if you have nothing else to do, I suggest to get down there.

2nd that! There was salad cream, bacon, free Smarties for my son. So if any of you are hankering after some 'home comforts' head on down there with your purses and wallets. Loads of info for us adults and the kids and my son enjoyed going round picking up the 'freebies'. And of course GG is there so if you didn't get to say hello at the Viaduckt yesterday things are alot calmer there.

Re: 5th Expat-Expo Zurich

But the Smarties weren't proper ones really. And the curry was expensive and the staff there rude.

But there were good points too. 7 out of 10.

Re: 5th Expat-Expo Zurich

I went along to this today after missing it in Basel earlier in the year, I found it good got alot of information on colleges here as I am thinking of going next year. Also played a little memory game and got a voucher for 25% off an intensive language course with Alegra Sprachzentrum. the course looks good and now with the vouch it will cost 2470 CHF approx for 14 weeks. Pretty happy with that.

Strange, as I always find the guys at Best Curry extremely charming and polite. Maybe it's just me though

Perhaps they were just miserable and dismissive and displaying poor customer service to a select few.
