Tibetan Lama in Zurich

Author of The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying and well known Tibetan lama Sogyal Rinpoche will be speaking in Zurich this week.

There will be a public talk on Thursday 23rd September

Time: 19.30
Place: Kongresshaus, Zuirch. Gotthardstrasse 5
Cost: 35chf (10chf for students and Lehrlinge)

Hope to see you there.

The title of the talk is

"What meditation really is"

The talk will be in English (with German translation).

I got a tibetan tattoo too. It says 西藏,中华人民共和国. Tibetans always seem to not like it when I show it to them though..

He's doing a weekend this weekend (Same venue)

Starts 9.30 Saturday morning. You'll get a lot of teachings on meditation and he might teach on "not getting swept away by your thoughts and emotions but instead using them to strengthen your own awareness)

Very interesting stuff indeed.

There is a saying, "A little knowledge is a dangerous thing!". I being Tibetan have never known and will never accept these cube and slash letters as Tibetan. It is not at all Tibetan letter for your kind information. You just got fooled by some crook. Hope it doesn't says, "Kick my ass"

No no, that's the national language of Tibet and I speak it rather decently. Problem?
