Hi Ian. Am definately attending the GBB again. Will you have more of those lovely English sausages on offer?
One thing I miss here is a great British Banger.

Hello Flashman
Promise you, we shall be serving-up more bangers than a Swiss 1st. August national fest.

Well I hope that we get a good showing of EnglishForum members.
It would be nice to meet others from Aarau, Solothurn and maybe even the Basel area like last time. You don't HAVE to be from Zuerich, Geneva or Bern to have a good get together |

Sounds yummy. I would join, but it seems a bit far to go for blood pudding....
Have fun, then tell us all about it! |

OK, having had a look at the SBB site for train times, to get there for the 9am start, I'd need to be on the Inter-Regio at 07.36 and arrive in Aarau at 08.30-ish.
Of course, I expect I could always come later, I know it's "all you can eat" but even I'd struggle with 4 straight hours of greasy breakfast
Good news is, the train does only take an hour to get there - how easy is the Penny Farthing to find from the station at Aarau?

Here's a couple of pictures from the last Great British Breakfast event. http://www.englishforum.ch/photos/sh...user/1829/sl/f
Looking forwarsd to seeing fellow EF members there.
Afterwards you could probably go and visit the Swiss Folk and Schwingfest meet which is held nearby. It's really interesting and fun to watch or photograph.
Alternatively, if you have little ones with and a car, you could visit the Roggenhausen park which has deer, Vietnamese pot bellied pigs and other assorted animals to feed and stroke. I went there last week and the little ones loved it. They also have a restaurant and a kids play area with go kart track. It's on the left just as you leave the Aarau city limits heading towards Olten.

Yet another good morning out! Food was excellent, although did not really get much chance to speak to other forum members, (Sorry Flash). Hopefully this will be happening once a month from now on and I can highly recommend it.
Thanks again Ian.
