Re: Culinary Workshop Week in Tuscany 2011

hi Jack--this looks great, nice write-up and video of last year's workshop.

One question on travel plans: what's the easiest way to get there from the Zurich area? Is it doable on the train, for instance?

Florence, Siena and Rome offer connections via local train or rental cars. You can check the train schedules at www.trenitalia.com. Please feel free to contact us if you would like assistance sorting out local travel connections.
We can make arrangements to pick up participants at the train station in Chiusi Chianciano Terme. As an alternative, the town of Buonconvento is also served by local trains from Florence and Siena.
Driving is also an option of course. There is free outdoor parking at the residence.

Re: Culinary Workshop Week in Tuscany 2011

Have you already made your summer vacation plans? There are only a few weeks left before we head out again to conduct another one of our culinary workshop weeks in Tuscany…and we still have two spots available in case you would like to join us!

Immersing yourself into the food & wine culture of Italy for an entire week is an excellent way to understand and learn this incredible way of life. Whether you are just a beginner or a seasoned pro, our Culinary Workshop Week in Tuscany will provide you with a unique opportunity to experience the Italian lifestyle in a very relaxed environment. We offer 7 nights in a wonderfully restored Tuscan farmhouse, 5 days of culinary classes, wine tastings and special excursions to local wineries and olive oil producers…plus much more!

Can’t make it for an entire week this summer? Then consider one of four mini-workshops we will offer this September...

Our Mini-Culinary Workshops feature 4-nights of accommodation and 3 full days of culinary adventures. You will have hands-on cooking lessons, wine tasting instruction and a couple of very fun excursions to some of our local wine-producing and olive oil-producing friends. We think our mini-workshops are perfect for those who are short on time or simply want to get a crash course on the area and Italian culinary culture before heading out on their own adventure.

We would be delighted to host you either this summer or perhaps this September in beautiful Tuscany! Send us an e-mail or use our contact page to contact us if you have any further questions or if you would like more information...www.laughinglemon.ch
