Re: Wine Advertising

Are you promoting your business? If so, it would help if you did it in English. Many people who use EF can't read German.

Generally, it's a good idea to tell people what it is you want to promote. I looked at the site but, bored, I went and made some tea instead. And I can read German...

Re: Wine Advertising

It is not supposed to be a heavy weight entertaining website with bells and wistles:
This is a low cost light weight web page for smart phones, providing simple and easy to navigate information. It is not about web content, it is about business and contact information,

I am glad, you made some tea. I love tea, too.

For entertainement, you can look at my other website:

Sorry, you can't make a website like this and expect less than a 100% bounce rate. Please read some articles on web design and seo. And translate into English, it's what most people on this website, and in the world, speak.

Bounce ! and big bounce, it looks more like a " parking " page..remember? some company buys a bunch of domain names and in return when you visit them , you find a similar page where all the domains are parked..

But the photo on the right in this screen shot of your page has got absolutely nothing to do with Geneva. This is in fact a photo of the Winchester Club in London. Arthur's in the gents, and Terry has just gone to park the Jag.

That is true. But please read some articles about Dot Tel domains (Telnic, the registry of the domains), and .Tel and SEO. Interestingly, .Tel domains rank well in Google.

However, there had just been a design competiton, for new templates.

The Dot tel domains don't cost any hosting fees for the owner. But they have a lot of restrictions (design, development, etc.). Basically, one can only select colors, and integrate a personal logo or picture.

Seriously, haven't you got something better to do? You're like a kid who's just learned to tell the time, and is now determined to share this new-found skill every ten seconds. Yes, your websites are super. Yes, 2d barcodes are the future. Now, run along and go play with the traffic.

I don't know what this means. What strikes me is that the only freedom you have with telsites is colour and font and you chose those. Also, the site isn't well optimised, poor keyword density, PR0, but most importantly I have no idea what it means/says/does.

And on this site, I didn't know what it was for, so I clicked on the For Sale link. I saw a great house with a large pool that the description says is in the heart of somewhere called "HP" and the map says is right next door to New York University in Greenwich Village. Are you serious with all this or is it some kind of a joke we're not getting?

Re: Wine Advertising

I agree. I never said, the web page looked stunning. Neither did I expect any positive feedback for the web page.

At present, I can't improve the look and feel, because of the given restrictions of the registry. It is difficult to customise the page.

The look and feel is very poor. On the other side, there are positive things about the .Tel domains: They are mobile and low cost, and can be updated "on the go", from the smart phone, etc.

If you will, its a simple landin page, that points you to the websites, that have the bells and the wistles, and all the eye candy. But the eye candy had especially been avoided, for the sake of keeping the page a light weihght page, that loads faster then an average website. Roaoming coste, are suppost to be less, then other mobile websites cost. The domain registry wanted to keep the look minimalistic. And only had come up, a few weeks ago, with a design contest to have a wider template selection from the control (design) panel.

Why should it be any British?

"Digital artist, Internet pioneer, entrepreneur within clean energy. Supplier for domestic windpower and electric cars and more. Thinktanking to reform and regulate the financial industry."

Wow, you're one kind of a dreamer.

Re: Wine Advertising

@ Bertrand:

Are you refering to the flash website (wix.com)?

I was refering to the mobile web page "www.weinwerbung.tel".

Anyway, I am taking all the comments as constructive feedback or constructive criticism.

I am only developing "www.weinwerbung.tel", because it is a keyword name domain, with a very good Google ranking.
Anybody looking for "Weinwerbung", ugly, or not, will see the page. And from there, he could get pointe to a other website, that looks more interesting.
