Oh, sooooo good. These are a kind of panfried ravioli covered on breadcrumb and filled with different stuff. They're damn good and one of my many favourite Portuguese specialities.

Yummy...

Re: Rissol of Meat or Shrimp

I'm hungry now... Anyone up for a Rissol binge session in the dell by me ?

...or a Rissol 'who can eat the most' competition ?

@OP, can you make them extra spicy hot (Chili / Piri-Piri) ?
( I still have 7.9lbs of KFC in my colon that need cleansing)

Re: Rissol of Meat or Shrimp

Rissóis are usually arround 8 cm diameter, but of course that can change... The ones with shrimp are usually quite spicy, so I think economisto would love those ones

They are best eaten still warm, with a cold beer and a plate of black olives!

At my grandmother afternoon snacks we had the minced meat ones (which included just a little bit of chourico), which were really good (I have to confess I have never eaten cheese ones, but it sounds good!)
