Do you have any Crabbies (the ginger beer) right now?

The last batch I managed to get was down near Geneva; lucky the car show was on that day otherwise it'd be a looooong way for some sweet, sweet ginger beer!
No Crabbies. But I do have Organic Ginger Cordial and Old Tom Ginger Ale.... proper alcoholic Ginger beer that is.

You have bagels and Brains?

Congratulations Grumpy. You've worked hard to get this far. We'll definitely be stopping by soon. Maybe with a cart.

We have a couple of Brains's bears, the bitter is in a can, I don't usually like canned beer but this is very drinkable.

We got a delivery of Bagels this morning to last until Monday, but we almost sold out of some varieties. Hopefully we can get hold of the bagel boys in the morning to re-stock.

I forgot to mention.... we also now sell our own free range mountain eggs too for 70 raps each. We don't have too many chooks so it'll be first come first served - they are the best eggs you will have ever tasted!

Yummm!

Will you be regularly having the bagels at your stand in the Zurich HB on Wednesdays? (Sorry, I couldn't quite figure out where exactly your photos were taken, etc.)

The Bagel Bar is at the Viadukt market, no plans at the mo to stock them at the HB though

Congratulations Grumpy, it's beautiful.
The presentation of the products is attractive.
There's attention to detail, even in the signs.
The hard work and care really show.
Great visuals.
(along with all the good food and drink of course)

Just ... wow!

More reason to go to the Viadukt, will have to bring my father along when he arrives - make sure you're stocked up just over four weeks from today!!

I've just taken some better photos in daylight. We now have plenty of bagels for today including Poppy.

Hope to see some of you after lunch for a drink!

Fantastic!

The stall looks good and I'm looking forward to trying the Pear Wood Cider. Do you have any other Badger beers other than Fursty Ferret? If you've got Blandford Fly my OH will probably be the happiest he's been since we moved here over 12 months ago!

You need a "Bagels available" status Grumpy that we can check on line

Time to come for lunch soon methinks. Bagels, eggs, cheese, beer, port...all that's missing is bacon and sausages?

Viadukt Markthalle: leave Zurich HB by the main doors, from the Bahnhofquai tram station catch tram 4 or 13 to the Dammweg stop (about five minutes), look for the big railway viaduct just before the tram stop. The market is built into the viaduct, and Mr Grapefruit's stall is right before you when you walk in, on the right.

The Applewood cider and Perry sold out within a week but I should get more by next weekend, I'll try to get Blandford Fly too... just seen it's a ginger flavoured ale... ginger is all the rage at the mo.

We get a delivery of frozen Bagels in every Friday so it's possible that by Thursday one or 2 varieties may sell out but we're hoping this will never happen. Plain, wholemeal, Poppy, Sesame, Onion and Raisin & Cinnamon are our selection at the mo. We were serving the Sesame toasted with cheese at yesterdays Ploughmans Lunch and they went down very well... Godminster Bio Cheddar and Shropshire Blue were the favourites.

I did have sausages and bacon for a while, made by a local chef but the price was pretty heavy (although they were excellent). He has since had a problem with his shoulder and can't work for 4 months anyway. We'll see if we can get them anywhere else.

AS DB say's... as you walk in the front doors, look to your right and this will be your view. I won't be back in until Wednesday now (although we will be open). Saturday is when we open up a couple of bottles of Port, and sometimes a single malt, to show how well they go with our cheeses.

Thanks Grumpy - if you do manage to source some Blandford Fly I'm hoping it will be the incentive for us to make the Thursday night drinks as it's his absolute favourite beer!
