Oh no, there are enough rep whores on EF. Please don't encourage them any more.

Personally I find the controversial posters more interesting to read or exchange ideas with (even if I don't agree with them). People who just swim with the stream are mostly boring.
Love me, hate me. But don't be neutral!

The fact that there's no thanking or groaning in Off-Topic also skews results somewhat. Main forums are structured in a way that encourages you to have something to contribute. In Off-Topic I know I can loosen my straightjacket and go full retard at times.

And at the end of the meal, the mods jump out from under the table, yell "SURPRISE" and bestow the honor of newest EF moderator on the winner, right?

Sneaky, sneaky, sneaky......

I think we need a "thanked times as percentage of thanked posts"

Thanked 3,448 Times in 1,601 Posts.

no wait, ... I'm not doing much better on that count.. I guess I'll have to buy my own dinnah.

I've just realised how far away the restaurant is from Lausanne! I thought it was in Zurich and as I don't have a car it's going to be problematic if I win.

So I should probably withdraw so that (in the slim chance that someone else doesn't beat me) I'm not likely to take it from someone who can use it.

Last edited by nic80; 19.01.2012 at 16:21. Reason: probably better just to withdraw

thanks.. but I'm down the road from you in Geneva so Zurich is too much of a trek for me as well.

I guess the prize will have to go to second place... unless someone beats your rather impressive %

(7464/4102) x 100 = 182%

(18/4102) x 100 = 0.4%

182 - 0.04 = 181.6%

GG, I think it's probably time that you were given a meal instead of providing one! Congratulations (BTW you're now added to PaddyGs groan list )

(2064/4394) x 100 = 47%

(38/4394) x 100 = 0.9%

47 - 0.9 = 46.1%

I would just like to point out that you would be in lenzburg faster with the train than you would be zurich
