Spring - time for a new terrace deck or furniture?

Spring is here so it is time to think about the outdoor life again.

Is your outdoor furniture past it's expiry date?

The terrace or balcony need a makeover?

Then I can help you with that!

I am an Australian carpenter based near Zurich, I make outdoor furniture designed to suit your needs at reasonable prices, some examples can be seen here http://www.noonwoodwork.com/en/content/table-0 , there are other materials and designs which are not on the website.

Noon Woodwork also installs Terrace decks and Balcony floors in either solid wood or a range of low maintenance composite materials in a wide variety of colours and surface finishes, as seen here http://www.noonwoodwork.com/en/content/terrace-decks or http://www.geolam.com/uk_index.php or http://www.hiag.ch/upload/3016665-Mo...uform_2011.pdf

So whatever your outdoor needs, I am happy to give an obligation free quote.

Thanks Rob

Yes you read right, not everyone here shops at Ikea.

If you do seek asolid wood table that will last a lifetime outdoors or be flatpacked for storage in 5 minutes then I can help you.

Our newest design available in any size, matching benches also avilable.

Re: Spring - time for a new terrace deck or furniture?

Well it is that time of year again so start your planning now!!

I am in regards to Terrace decks, I have two new supplier with a wide range of products to meet your budget and design. WPC (Wood, plastic composite) products are a good low maintenance option, they have come a long way in the last couple of years from the dog ugly spotted stuff you see in hardware stores to many new colours and surface finishes available. One thing to take into consideration with these products is air circulation underneath, this varies from product to product from 25mm to 70mm. They will expand and contract as with natural wood decking albeit at a lower rate but insufficent clearance underneath can create problems.

I also make a range of outdoor furniture to match the decking.

Re: Spring - time for a new terrace deck or furniture?

Just to let you know, I bought a table from Rob last year, if anyone needs a recommendation of his craftsmanship, he’s very good! Table is one the best I ever invested in and still looks great.

Rob also did a lot of work at our place, replacing floors, cladding inside and out, ceiling work etc etc

Top bloke and great workmanship, don't let him being an aussie put you off

Is the decking material Terrafina? It is synthetic and low maintenance.

We installed that last year on a rooftop terrace. We chose the graphite colour.

I saw the pics of your house. It is really nice. Pity he lives too far away from us as we need someone to finish off the top floor of our house and replace the stairs. in fact none of the carpenters on the forum want travel to us to do the job.
