Thanks Rani and Gooner!
Stefanie: my cousin, who is a graphic designer, is based in Geneva however his first language is French. His English isn't too bad however you'd probably find it easier to communicate in French. If you're interested I'd be happy to get him in touch with you.
Kind Regards
Chris
Gooner: I'll be in Pizol again this Saturday so let me know if you're interested in meeting up for skiing/snowboard. |

That would be great, Cas, thanks!
I think I would absorb more in or 2 hour sessions at the time, max!
I think with our combined knowledge of French and English, your cousin and I will be fine ;-)

| | Re: Private teacher; Photoshop, design, drawing and painting Hello Cas,
Gooner had suggested that you might be able to help in the following:
I am looking for classes in figure drawing and painting, particularly in the areas of Zurich and Rapperswil, and cantons of Zurich, SZ and SG. I can find some schools that offer this (e.g. classes in furthering education at the Zurich School of Art and Design, or the Zeichen Akademi run by Peter Grenacher, or the www.artzeichene.ch), but the teachers of the courses I was interested in did not speak any English and unfortunately I do not yet speak much German.
I am also looking for private tutors that can help me develop my progress in drawing and painting (I imagine that I will do drawing/painting at home and then have the tutor to discuss/monitor/advise etc on the work).
Back in the UK, I used to attend classes with Babette Adrian and at the Art Academy in London, in figure drawing/painting and sculpture respectively.
Any recommendations, including offers for classes by yourself, would be most welcome. (I have seen your figure drawings and paintings on your website and they are really good!!!)
Many thanks!!!

Hi Katharina77, Raji and Romano!
Katharina77: I can build and manage websites using a program called Freeway (which I used to build my own website) however I don't have experience with website programming or other web design programs.
Raji: Sincerest apologies for the wait. I'm writing out the lesson plan in-between other work, but it is almost finished. Please bare with me.
Romano: I also attended classes at the Art Academy!
I'm expecting to get my own studio space in May, where I'll be able to host apprenticeship-style lessons. However if you're interested in getting instruction and feedback to your artwork through regular meetings and presentations then I'd be happy to begin at fairly short notice.
I've studied intensively the various schools of art for the past 6 years so I'm confident I can be of help. I'd be happy to make the first meeting free so that you can get an idea of what to expect. I'll PM you with further details.
Thanks for dropping by!
Chris

Hello,
I am absolutely desperate to improve my observational drawing skills. I am really out of practice and would greatly appreciate some advice or guidance. If you have any time to maybe meet up and discuss some sort of tutoring ; or recommend a reasonably priced art class I would really appreciate it. I live in Adliswil, so can get pretty much everywhere easily.

Hi cbee!
If you're still interested I would be happy to offer classes every two weeks on a regular basis or we could arrange something less frequent if you prefer.
Classes can take place at the Kunsthaus (where I recommend buying an annual ticket for 95CHF, as it's a great saving and includes all exhibitions), or at the archaeology institute, where it's free and there's a great collection of classical sculptures to draw from.
Feel free to get in touch if you have any questions.
Kind regards
Chris

Hi Chris,
How's it going?
That would be excellent. Maybe we can sort something out for the new year.

Hello,
I am interested in having "PhotoShop" lessons, in particular because I want to get into "Digital Scrapbooking" and learn how to make invitations, cards etc.
Do you teach group sessions (in English). If so, where? Or are they private lessons? How much are group sessions and the private ones?
Thanks for your reply.

Hi
Can one of the moderators please delete this post. I'm no longer offering Photoshop classes. Instead I've started a thread dedicated to drawing lessons.
Many thanks!
Chris
