Is your mobile water damaged?

Your mobile can be recovered. YOU MUST send it to me quickly and DO NOT attempt to dry it with a hair dryer or oven.

I can pickup your mobile from anywhere in the Canton Basel-Stadt area

Re: Is your mobile water damaged?

By the time you arrive the water inside will dry and ruin the boards anyway.

Best thing to do if you phone gets flooded is to put it in a glass and cover it with rice. Rice will absorb all the water and humidity from it.

Free advice!

Your information is misleading to the public. I have recovered numerous water damaged phones and I can assure you rice and glass was not used. Next time save your advice. I am a certified cell phone master technician.

Very funny. Once water/other corrosive liquid has contaminated the circuit board even in small (less than a drop) quantities your phone will malfunction. Sometimes only certain features or components (proximity sensor, speaker, mic etc) will malfunction. The point is your "rice" will not completely remove the contaminant from the inner electronic components and therefore a thorough technique is required.

...Cue in the next sarcastic comment

You correctly pointed out my spelling/grammar mistake. Cellular Master Technician is correct. I thank you for that but not the consequent sarcasm.

Re: Is your mobile water damaged?

Every used phone I sell comes with a 90 day warranty and in some cases I install new brand new parts (touchscreen digitizer, microphone flex cable etc) if necessary. I will never and I repeat NEVER sell a damaged phone. Nice try!

So are you saying that taking the battery out and putting the phone in rice will not save any phone? Is the technique totally ineffective?

Or are you just trying to convince people not to try it and just give you cash instead?

Same reason I go to a real certified Doctor when I am sick. But you are right. Next time I will save cash by going to WebMD.com and perform my own knee surgery.
