It seems to be with reference to your other thread about water damaged phones.

1. I sell used/refurbished phones as mentioned on my web site
2. I repair physical damage and water damaged phones
3. I sell mobile phone accessories
4. I donate phones that would otherwise be recycled in Switzerland to causes in East Africa

Every phone I sell has a 90 day warranty.

My business is registered with the Canton Basel-Stadt authorities. So what is the insinuation here?

If this is a commercial sale, shouldn't it be in the commercial forum?

1. What is your website and why didn't you say before in the ad that the phone was refurbished/repaired (if it it was?)

2. Why this phone doesn't come with a warranty, why this was not mentioned?

3. I am sorry, BUT, this is nothing personal against you because I have no way of knowing, but I have stopped believing and donating to "random" guys who collect old IT stuff in Switzerland...2 years ago there were some 30 old laptops (worthless in CH anyway) that were about to be recycled or thrown away and I knew a fine nice gentlemen who was doing the same (donating them somewhere in Africa) so I talked to my boss and we decided to give them to him and his cause...Few months later the same fine nice gentlemen while buying me a round of beer is asking me if and when I can manage to get another shipment like that, because he made a shit load of money from the last one...

Apparently for many people who collect useless IT junk in CH and claim they donate it - they actually sell it there in bulk and make good money on it... So from then on I knew I would never just give away stuff to a random bloke but I'd rather give to a trusted organization who is credible and I know the stuff will end up where they need to.

What is the name of your business and where your office in Basel-stadt is?

Don't know. "For Sale" seems more intuitive to me.

Exactly what I though, this section is supposedly for private sellers only otherwise it would open the floodgates to business selling allsorts (not liquorice) on it.

1. Business: Handyengel Cellular Repair Center, website: www.handyengel.ch
When I purchase a used phone, it is thoroughly tested. If I think there are too many scratches on the screen I replace it. If I see too much wear on a keypad I replace it and so on and so on. Point is the buyer is basically getting a like-new phone for less than half the price of a new phone which I back up with a 90 day warranty.

2. I posted what I thought was the necessary information and mentioning the warranty would have actually been a good idea. Will do so next time.

3. Very important point. I am not a registered charity. This is my own personal initiative. I collect these phones, check them, pack them in a suit case and the next time I travel to East Africa I hand them out. Simple as that. The donor will get a letter of appreciation and a photograph from the recipient and that is all. Is trust involved? You bet!

One charitable organization you can contact directly is involved in the protection of people with albinism (PWA) in Tanzania (Susan Dubois, http://www.asante-mariamu.org). They are receptive to the idea of arming every PWA with a mobile phone to act as a panic button. The other is an education trust called UET (Uru Education Trust, josephtemba@gmail.com>, ). Here I want to donate smartphones/tablets with educational material from the Khan Academy (http://www.khanacademy.org/) due to lack of proper text books among primary and secondary school students.
