Brunch at Kennedy's Irish Pub Zurich
 

Hi all!

After a very successful debut in Zurich, we're settling down nicely and have now moved on to one of our original ideas and will start our BRUNCH this Easter Sunday.

For the many of you who've been asking when we are going to start this, here we go!!

It will be a la carte (Not buffet), and all meals and snacks are made fresh in house.

Brunch will be served from 10.30 - 14.00 for the forseeable future, this may be extended until 15.00 in the summer (TBC)

The opening menu will look like this:

California Wrap –
Spicy Chorizo, red onion, melted cheddar and scrambled egg in a flour tortilla,
served with a baby leaf salad and avocado

Eggs Florentine -
Lightly toasted English muffin, layered with wilted spinach, a poached egg
& hollandaise sauce, served with a baby leaf salad and avocado

Eggs Benedict –
Lightly toasted bagel, topped with bacon, a poached egg and hollandaise
sauce, served with a baby leaf salad and avocado

New York Bagel –
Lightly toasted bagel filled with smoked salmon, cream cheese, capers
and sliced red onion, served with a baby leaf salad and avocado

Swiss Bagel (Käseschnitte) –

Lightly toasted bagel with Parma ham, melted Swiss cheese and 2 fried eggs,
served with a baby leaf salad and avocado

Kennedy’s Club Sandwich -
Classic double decker sandwich with chicken breast, bacon, tomato, egg
& cheese, served with a salad garnish and crisps

Breakfast Baguette –
French loaf filled with fried eggs, bacon and sausage

“Build your own” Baguette

Back Bacon -

Sausage (2) -
Eggs (2) -
Mushrooms -


Irish Breakfast –
Back bacon, pork sausages, fried eggs, black pudding, baked beans, grilled
tomato and toast (Includes a cup of tea or coffee)

Classic 3 Egg Omelettes –
Tasty “build your own” omelettes, served with a side salad

Bacon -

Cheddar cheese -
Potatoes -
Mushrooms -
Onions -
Tomatoes -

Kennedy’s French Toast –
Made with homemade Zopf bread, served with warm maple syrup and
powdered sugar

“Stack a Pack” Pancakes –
Stack of American style pancakes served with warm maple syrup

Swiss Birchermüesli -
Delicious mix of muesli, yoghurt and chunks of fresh fruit, topped with whipped
cream and served with homemade Zopf bread

Bread Basket -
Bread of the house, homemade Zopf, butter and jam


Bloody Mary - Brunch Special!
Vodka, tomato juice, Worcestershire sauce, lemon,
salt n pepper (Tabasco optional)

Mimosa/Bucks Fizz -
Call it what you like, it belongs to brunch! Prosecco and orange juice

I'm thinking of dragging the family along for brunch, if anyone wants to join us and our two kids (who are generally well-behaved in public, I promise in advance). Depends on how lazy we are feeling though...

In all honesty, we won't be expecting anything like a full house - we've only advertised it externally from today and it's Easter weekend where from our experience lots of people are either away, or stay in with family etc - plus with the late snowfall, the mountains will be packed tomorrow if the weather perks up a little!

It doesn't hurt to reserve, and you can ask the person on the phone to give you the best possible table for the numbers you're expecting! i could make a booking for you now, but if you're going to be waiting on others to confirm, it's best to call yourself later - using the email reservation link is fine in advance, but short-notice bookings telephone is always better as a few reservations could easily have been taken over the phone from the time you send an email to the time it's read.

Hey brunchers!

Right now we are offering a free MIMOSA http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mimosa_%28cocktail%29 with every adult brunch meal ordered. This offer starts this Sunday 19th of May, and is open-ended at present, but of course limited only to Sundays from 10.30am until 14.00pm!
