Andy asked me to say that he's just got a few Pork and Apple and Ratatouille with goats cheese and one Beef Bourguignon left today, if you want any reserving for supper let him know here (and let him know if you want it warm to eat at the market).

Last week I was fortunate enough to be doing a renovation on a restaurant where Andy was making his pies, so I had the pleasure of trying a few for lunch over the week. I thought 9 Chuffs a pie was a bit expensive (usual expat reaction, back home yada, yada, yada) but seeing how many hours he puts into making the fillings alone, it is a good price when you see the time involved and the quality of ingredients.
Anyway to the taste test, over the week I had four varieties Steak & Pepper,
Chicken & Mushroom, Beef and Ale and finally Mince and Cheese (being an Aussie I suffer pie withdrawl here!!). I would have to say these are the best pies I have ever eaten and I have had the odd one or two over the years, the only downsides are stopping at one and they are made by a Kiwi!!
Search and enjoy.

We are back in the Zürich HB this Wednesday and the weather forecast is for glorious sun. To celebrate this run of fabulous weather we'll be making a small number of "Fisherman's Pie"- North Atlantic White Fish, Salmon & Shrimp folded in a white sauce, a kiss of lemon zest, fresh garden peas and creamy mash potato on top. If want reserving let me know as I'll only be making a limited amount.
Other pies on the day -
Chicken & Mushroom
Mince & Cheese
Spinach & Feta.
Look forward to seeing you there.....

Andy's brought the following to the HB market today:
Asparagus and Goats cheese
Chicken and Mushroom
Lamb and Mint
If you want any reserving let him know here, also, if you want them warm, approximate time you'll be in. He's also made 20 little tubs of crispy Coleslaw, and they're free (with a pie purchase of course)
To celebrate St Georges day today "Meet Pi" has made a number of Steak and Ale pies especially to mark the occasion. Remember we partner with "The British Cheese Center" we also have bottles of Spitfire. Come and join us for a few this afternoon / evening and reminise about good old blighty. Hope to see you then. Cheers
2 quick things to mention - "Meet Pi" won't be at the Zurich HB tomorrow, actually the entire market takes a week off, considering this heat not such a bad idea...
Secondly I have a brand new website, has more detail, pictures etc, I will be making a few more adjustments in the coming days but all in all, it's pretty much there. You will notice it's only in English for now, which you all won't mind, I'm sure and will be adding German translation asap.
Which reminds me - If anyone reading this can help me a professional translation I have 10 large Pies of your choice, eagerly awaiting to be dispatched to their home address ))
