Re: American Dental Hygiene Offer for EFers

When do you recommend kids come in for their first cleaning? We have a one and a half year old who has ten teeth so far. We brush twice a day and have since his first tooth came in, but a check-up/cleaning seems like a good idea.

And any chance you'll make an exception and extend your deal by a couple of months for a pregnant lady who's a little big and awkward to comfortably lie in a dental chair right now (not to mention still gagging from morning sickness)?

Re: American Dental Hygiene Offer for EFers

Hi Little Isabella

I LOVE little children! In USA we start very early to introduce children to dentistry. Sometimes, this simply means observing Mama in the chair, and have a quick peek, at the end of Mom's appointment.

BTW, it is very important to have your teeth cleaned during pregnancy. Google Pregnancy Gingivitis to know why....

More for Isabella...

http://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=relmfu&v=CGgtQ6OkIBw

A lot has changed since my early days, with a mini Dental Hygiene practice from my home in Kilchberg. Now I am at Bahnhofplatz with three excellent dentists, a team of professional Hygienists, and a great staff, but I remain the same dedicated dental professional, like always. Only, now my dear patients have access to a full dental office, including a wonderful pedodontist ( children's dentist).

BTW, my special offer is less expensive than years ago!

Re: American Dental Hygiene Offer for EFers

I have no doubt you know what you're talking about when it comes to pregnancy and cleaning. My gums were very sensitive in my first pregnancy (and this one) so what you say is so true. But I gag and sometimes vomit just brushing my own teeth so it's not something I plan to put you through for a visit. Plus, being on my back for that amount of time would be hard for me in the third trimester. Fortunately, I got a cleaning the month before I became pregnant, so I think it's best to wait until after baby comes.

(fingers crossed I stay cavity-free..been lucky so far)

Will call in for an appointment for my husband and son next month though..thank you!

"third trimester" No problem. I'll still be around when the little one arrives. Meanwhile, if you experience swollen gums try a bit of Meridol ( alternate with another toothpaste to avoid tooth staining) or Tebodont.

Re: American Dental Hygiene Offer for EFers

I just got a pm from an EFer suffering from phobia. If there are more of you, I hope to have the opportunity to change this for you. After many years, I believe:

1. Patients are adults who deserve to be treated with respect, and not scolded, like a child. Children patients need to be handled very carefully. Their memories can last a lifetime.

2. With proper technique a dental cleaning should never hurt. Do not accept it, if it does.

3. Most people want/ need to save money. It is my pleasure to help save teeth and money.

4. I love to talk about teeth so pm me and we can talk, for free.

Re: American Dental Hygiene Offer for EFers

FYI, for a limited time, as I incorporate into www.cosmodent.ch, I have a unique opportunity, which allows me to make this offer.

If you want to compare prices, always ask if you are scheduled with a professional DH ( Dental Hygienist) , as some Swiss dentists try to save money by hiring PAs. (Prophylaxis Assistants) They are legally only allowed to clean above your gum-line, which only helps your cosmetics and not your prevention of gum disease.

There will be no reduction of time for this offer. Adults will still be scheduled for a full hour. No one is obliged to see the dentist, if they only want a cleaning.

The only thing which has changed is the location and infrastructure, which is good for everyone. Thanks.

Re: American Dental Hygiene Offer for EFers

Well, what can I say. A brilliant service by a charming and professional lady. I was set to ease with soothing music, given the video tour of my mouth, scrubbed clean and later walked out feeling fantastic.

If it's time you went to a hygienist, then this is the right person at the right price. A fantastic offer with a fantastic service. Great location too.

A friendly bump for those of you, needing/wanting a professional dental hygiene appointment, for a good price.

I would like to offer this to as many EFers, as possible, for as long as my bosses agree.

A friendly bump from me, too. A couple of weeks ago, I had my teeth cleaned by Susan and it was altogether a delightful experience! Not only is Susan a competent hygienist, she's also a very pleasant person and makes you feel you've found a friend! Glenda Jackson.

Re: American Dental Hygiene Offer for EFers

Susan,
thanks for this offer, after all the recommendations i gather courage to put myself up to cleaning the teeth. the last time i went to aDh i was in severe pain since one of my molars has an exposed gum line(is that what you call it) and she went cleaning it- that was around 4years ago when i last visited a DH.

Re: American Dental Hygiene Offer for EFers

Add me to the long list of people on here who are very happy with Susan's service! She was very pleasant, patient (I didn't feel rushed through it at all), and also took extra time to explain how things work to my 8 year old daughter. I think it's great to give kids a positive impression of going to the dentist.

I will also add a note about Dr. May Zimmerman, the children's dentist, who we also saw, based on Susan's recommendation. Our daughter had already been to another dentist twice and it was not a good experience at all. Dr. Zimmerman is extremely patient with kids. She really focuses on and listens to the child, which made my daughter feel very comfortable. My daughter left with a very good feeling about visiting the dentist.

Re: American Dental Hygiene Offer for EFers

today i had been to Susan. I hadn't been to Dh since the past 3years due to pain phobia. At first i was very tensed and Susan was so very casual and patient and warm that i immediately felt comfortable and safe in her hands. She also took extra measures to clean up those darned stains (none of the DH's had got completely rid of them) rechecked and got to the perfectionists polish.then she took meticulous measures to clean up with special strips.
WOW I am thoroughly impressed by this lady.
I am sure going to recommend susan to my family and friends and all Effers.

THANK YOU SUSAN SO MUCH!

BTW, I shall extend this offer until the end of March 2014. At that time, my merger with www.cosmodent.ch shall be complete. This is my way of saying thanks to all EFers. ( really...only you get this offer!) Just remember to tell me, at the time of your appointment.

Thanks again, and Happy Holidays!
