Re: Handyman [ZH]

We asked Peter to install four lamps in our Zurich apartment. He was OK to work in the evening (7 PM) at a very short notice and did great job in the end. It was not easy as the electrical installation in our apartment is quite complicated.

Peter is a very skilled person and has all necessary tools and missing parts (these were IKEA lamps). He has a lot of experience in what he does and a good communications style. In the end he charged only CHF 110 for his work and that included the missing elements!

Re: Handyman [ZH]

Hi all,

RECOMMENDED

Peeter came to do several jobs around our house at the weekend, he came on very short notice fixing a new ceiling light, putting up pictures, clock and repairing a difficult kitchen cabinet that had broken. He charged a very reasonable rate.

I will hire him again in the future.....you could throw any task at him and get a great result.

All the best,

James

Re: Handyman [ZH]

I live in Wollishofen and have some bathroom fixtures (towel rack, soap dispenser) that need to be installed. It's a hard wall so I'd like someone who knows how to properly hang things. Is this something you can do? If so, what are your rates.

Thanks, Theresa

Re: Handyman [ZH]

I highly recommend Peter for his quick response and of course good job. He came to my place to install the ceiling lights. But I forgot to mention the height is higher than usual and had to remind him almost last minute. It was more than good he still came on time with a solution and afterwards did a good job. I do appreciate!

Re: Handyman [ZH]

Peter came round yesterday and helped me with various handyman jobs including putting up some ceiling lights that I'd been told by someone else were a difficult job but that he did in no time and did perfectly: skilled and professional. He also gave me a few pro-tips about my drill. Nice fellow, will definitely call him again if necessary.

Re: Handyman [ZH]

This is another good recommendation for Peeter.

I recently moved into new apartment and naturally had to install new lights, so I contacted Peeter. He installed 5 lamps on the ceiling and fixed a light switch in one of the rooms. And for all that he took quite a modest amount. He was very nice and english-friendly.

Also, he has a van and advertised himself as a good alternative to Ikea delivery (who, by the way, don't usually speak English). Though, I haven't yet tried that.

I wish him luck!

EDIT: Forgot to mention that intallation of 5 lamps took him a little more than an hour, which, IMO, was quite fast.
