Home Automation, Audio/Video, Renovation, New Build

Hi,

I am connected with a company called Imaxis based in Feldmeilen. http://www.imaxis.ch/

The main function of the company is related to Home Automation, but we also become involved in Audio/Video Installations.

This can either be for 'new builds' or for 'renovation' projects.

The main product we use is from a Canadian company called Secant: http://www.secant.ca/

There is a new range of products coming out which covers smaller installations to more complex installations.

The beauty of the product is it's simplicity as the user/home owner can create thier own 'scenarios' quickly and easily and setup 'timer events' etc.. Plus this product is a fraction of the cost of it's competitors. The system is VERY reliable as well which is very important.

We have integrated this system with local products and solutions. We also work closely with an alarm company and it is possible to carryout some installations with minimal disruption.

In addition to this we offer Audio Video solutions which includes. Cinema Installations (motorised screens, projectors or TV's on Lifts, hidden speakers) & Whole House Audio (via Sonos, Nuvo etc.. and ceiling/in-wall mounted speakers).

These solutions can be integrated into a hand-held controller like the 'Philips Pronto TSU 9600' as this is Wireless and can control devices over TCP/IP or RS232 etc..

We can supply everyday CE components from most companies, i.e. Panasonic, Philips, Sony etc.. but often cannot compete with the large 'box shifting companies' on price. But if you are looking for a more service oriented company, then we might be worth considering. But I've had a couple of pleasant surprises on a couple of products recently where our price was competitive.

If you know of anyone building or renovating a house, apartment or block of flats etc.. we would be interested to hear from you. If this leads to a sale then I am sure we can make it worth your while.

Further details or questions can be address to me or direct with the company. Please mention where you saw this.

Thanks.

Re: Home Automation, Audio/Video, Renovation, New Build

Hi there. Just out of curiosity are you looking for any installers at present? I am a qualified installer currently back in NZ working for their premier Automation Company. Soundline.co.nz. I'm looking for a job installing in Switzerland. I would prefer to be near Zurich as that is where my partner is based, but would consider anything at present. We are a CEDIA accredited company and currently work with brands like Monitor Audio, Quad, Crestron, Savant, Theil, Audio Research, Stewart, Loewe, Meridian, Savioa and Lutron.
