German and Swiss German courses, translating and interpreting services

I am an experienced and qualified language teacher; I teach German and Swiss German as a foreign/second language. (I am CELTA and SVEB qualified with 9 years of teaching experience.) I teach children (12+), teenagers and adults. All courses are tailor-made to suit your learning needs, style and pace. I teach conversation courses, tutor children learning German as a second or foreign language and I teach Goethe exam preparation courses (A1-B2) as well as AP exam preparation courses. I offer private lessons and small group courses (2-4 participants). I teach at my language school in Au/Wädenswil and via Skype. (Languages at your home or office may also be possible if you live/work in Canton Zürich or Schwyz.) My mother tongue is English, my German is at a C2 level and Zürichdeutsch is my second mother tongue.

I am a qualified translator (well, almost qualified, I graduate this summer) and also run a small translating office (German to English). Scope of translations: Educational psychology, special education, Swiss tenancy law, jewellery, tourism, politics and economics and children’s books.

I also offer intercultural interpreting services in the education sector (e.g., parent-teacher meetings). I translate “two-ways” in Swiss German, German and English. I offer this service in Cantons Zürich and Schwyz.

For more information about my language courses, translating and interpreting services, or for a non-binding quote, please contact me via private message.

I look forward to hearing from you.
