Sometimes it is good for EF surfers to hear the opinion of another when reading a commercial post--so here is mine. Having played tennis with Jacek and Fadzai I can vouch for their playing skills and Fadzai's abilities to coach. Hopefully, the fact that I played NCAA tennis in the U.S. and have coached for over fifteen years lends some credibility to my statement. Although I only met them a couple of weeks ago, I already know they are really, really nice people and I believe EF members and/or their kids would absolutely enjoy the experience of taking lessons from them. I am in the same situation as Fadzai (a spouse of a full-time worker here), and so I really support their efforts to get this tennis teaching up and going. Good luck to the both of you!

Re: Tennis lessons during summer and winter season!
Hi all tennis players,
I cannot believe this thread has been dormant for so long No interest in tennis over autumn/winter season . Yet weather permitting we are still able to play on the clay outdoors!
Re: Tennis lessons during summer and winter season!
Hi Jacek
Can you recommend any good tennis clubs with covered courts in the Lausanne region?
I'm currently based in London and may be moving to Lausanne soon and I've heard it rains quite a bit down that way, but am keen to maintain a weekly hit of tennis all year round!
If I'm every in your part of town I'll drop in for some lessons, as you are getting good reviews!
Re: Tennis lessons during summer and winter season!
Do you have classes for groups? I'm really not interested in an individual class for my son - part of the idea of getting him in a class is for him to also meet other kids his age.
Re: Tennis lessons during summer and winter season!
My other half coaches the Swiss group of kids in your son's age in English but the standard of spoken English by local kids might not meet your expectations. Please check the site what the lessons in winter time under bubble look like (in spring and summer it is outdoor):
Re: Tennis lessons during summer and winter season!
The sun came out fully and the weather is fantastic nowadays. Anyone for tennis lessons in your location? Services extended to "mobile coaching" on request
Re: Tennis lessons during summer and winter season!
Dear Tennis Players on the EF,
We would like to thank all of you who have supported us throughout a season and enjoyed private and group tennis lessons. We really appreciate your commitment and enduring passion for this sport. You know who you are and we wish you more progress in the coming days.
I would like to take tennis lessons, however, I live in Geneva. Do you have any connection there?
Cheers
Nope, unfortunately no personal connections to professional tennis coaches in Geneva, except for one or two players that I had a chance to meet on the court. The best bet would be if you looked for tennis centres with indoor tennis courts in your location. There are usually private tennis instructors who advertise there. Not sure how much they charge that side but to give you an estimate, tennis lessons in Zurich can be anything CHF100-CHF130 per clock hour. My wife's hourly rates are competitive as we try to cater for needs of most of the expats who already find it quite tough and more expensive on arrival, yet preserving long term relationship with them. Anytime you have a chance to pop around up north you are welcome to join us
Re: Tennis lessons during summer and winter season!
Grrrrrrrrrrrr why can`t you live closer, my kids wanted to have tennis lessons last summer, we rang the person who gave tennis lessons (about 5 mins walk from us) and she was not interested, she told us we had to sort out the arrangements and get more kids who want to learn to play . Your prices are also very good she wanted double that per child.

We are mobile so we could travel to destination of your preference but in that case I think it would be more beneficial for everyone to have a half-day or full-day squad tennis training with larger group of kids.

Definitely we can make a plan, it could be either in winter season under bubble/sport centre or in spring/summer on open clay court. I see there are alternative options in your location: http://tcsg.ch outdoor tennis courts or http://www.st.gallen-bodensee.ch indoor tennis courts.

Re: Tennis lessons during summer and winter season!
I would like to start Tennis but in the Spring/Summer as winter is dedicated to Skiing
For Tennis I am total begineer. Will you plan to give lessons to begineers? and is Lausanne an option? I see they have some courts at the university but am not sure if they are open to no-students or Alumni - will check
