Academia International School Basel is a state registered International School for students aged 15-18. It offers IGCSE and A level courses in a wide range of subjects.

Students are given the opportunity to fast track subjects in which they are gifted whilst receiving extra support in areas they find more challenging.

I went to the meeting last night about the ais (academia internatonal school)

and was really impressed. My children have been going to academia for language lessons and we've been very happy with the tuition and also the atmosphere there.

Worth a look as a viable alternative to the other international schools - they also offer a good integration program called Step In if you are thinking of sending your kids to Swiss schools.
