Congratulations, Pandan, on the launching of your business!
I have tasted the coffee, orange, green tea and pandan (tropical leaf with a rose-like aroma) varieties of these chiffon cakes. They are the best I've eaten in my whole life -- and I have eaten a lot of it.
The texture is magically airy and light, like a fine sponge cake that stretches a little before it gives way to subtle flavours and mild sweetness. Before I knew it, I had scarfed four or five slices of it.

Congratulations, Pandan! The cakes look delicious. Do you have a website?
Thank you! Unfortunately i don’t have a website for commercial used yet. But I will build one in the future, as I’m too lousy to the computer, I’ll ask someone do it for me
The cakes look delicious. Where are u in Oerlikon? Is it also possible to pick them off the shelf (not the christmas season)?
Yes, I’m in Oerlikon area. Sorry, May be my attachment was not stated clearly about the ad. Sorry you can't buy the cakes off the shelf. You need to pre-order through my contact and for more detail. If I have any stock on my hand, you may buy it straightaway from me.

We used to have chiffon cake (orange only) for school pudding! I loved it and haven't had it since........this is almost worth moving to Zürich for....!!
perhaps a bit of information for our friends who aren't from SE Asia: the pandan fragrance features strongly in SE Asian kitchen, and has been described to be to SE Asian Kitchen, what vanilla is to western kitchen. here's what it looks like, u can find it in the asian markets here. the fragrance is sweet mild nutty, possibly dewy.
in the short 6 months i've known Pandan (the person, not the leaf), I've ordered probably 10 of her cakes it is incredibly fluffy, light and moist, and consistently so. having grew up in SE Asia, i've rarely been able to find chiffon cakes of this standard, and it is completely ironic that i should find it in the middle of europe.
I can recommend Pandan's cakes without reservation. the pandan cakes are brilliant, the coffee, to die for. if u dun die, tell me, and i'll arrange something

Slightly off topic, is it possible to get raw daun pandan ( screwpine I think they are called, as used for nasi lemak ) in Zurich ?
yes, i have seen in zürich (new asia market, i believe) and even baden. they are fresh, but somehow not quite as fragrant as those back home, obviously. i think the fragrance osmosised out during the flight here

jrspet just delivered us the most beautiful Pandan cake as a housewarming gift - and it definitely is quite different to your 'usual' cake...and we put ours in the refrigerator and it's quite lovely cold with ice-cream on the side!
Thanks Pandan!
