Hi,

Discovered this place in Baar today that has some great food.

Lots of Organic Organic Foods and Wine.

They sell fresh baked goods, like muffins, brownies, Bagels etc.. Even have them frozen to store in your freezer. In the basement they have a selection of Indian, Thai, Japanese, Mexican etc.. Also have low-sodium Soya Sauce. Lots of English teas, including a Decaf one that my wife enjoyed. Saw some big packs of spare ribs which would be really nice on the BBQ one day.

The people who run the place are very chearful and friendly (and of course speak perfect English/American :-).

They ONLY take cash at the moment so we were there finding every franc we could to buy a lot of really nice things.

I told them I'd post something here for them as we really liked what we saw and the people there.

btw, it's located on the same road as the swimming pool in Baar, on the left hand side before the pool, opposite the Sports outlet place (where we also found some Bargains).

I've not been to the shop but i have met them at a couple of events and their muffins and other baked goods are really excellent.

I'm sure they won't mind me mentioning here that in a couple of weeks they will also be stocking some American style sharp orange cheddar (it's actually made in England but it's the nearest to the "real thing" that we could find).

Brilliant! Nachos with Godminster cheddar is just sacrilege.

Been there today there are some really interesting things there,definately going back with cold box. The owner is really friendly.

This shop is excellent! The lady is very friendly. My son is on a No artifical colours, flavours and preservatives diet and I can buy lots of goodies for him here. They also sell soft brown sugar!
