The reason I never make the Wednesday sessions is that I have a German lesson at 6.00. Maybe I'll slip out of work early and grab a beer on the way to class, might help lubricate my mind.
Well unless your class runs until midnight you could still have a fair chance of catching some folks even if the market part of the market is over... [they have been known, shockingly enough, to loiter about drinking beer into the wee, erm, hours]

Our best selling Shropshire Blue is on offer at the ZH HB market tomorrow, 45 Chf a Kg down from 54.00. Rachel and Nancy goat, Wigmore, Duddleswell, Sussex Slipcote and Lanark Blue sheep will also be present as well as the usual cheddars and Stilton.

I believe that weejeem will be saying goodbye too, join us for beer, cookies from JLF and my cheesy nibbles from 6.00.
Just a little bump. Hoping lots of people will be coming out for some cheese and a beer or two...

Well, it certainly made a change from last time, and the slow realisation that one had somehow acquired a set of bagpipes during the evening

Re: The British Cheese Centre of Switzerland

Back at the HB market in Zurich tomorrow, note that there is no market next Wednesday 18th, and the last of my August cheese of the month should disappear tomorrow. Perl Las BIO is a blue caerphilly style of cheese from Wales, just about the most exceptional blue I have ever tasted. Very creamy but plenty of mature farmy, mushroomy flavours.

I'll have clotted cream too and more of the new Port Wine Jelly.

The new Viadukt market opens 6 days a week on the 4th September, must get more cheese!

and don't forget the last Rappi Ploughmans of 2010 on the 21st August.

See you for beers at the stall around 6pm - I'll have a new assistant learning the ropes - so be gentle with him.

I'll try to show up with some scones, Grumpy -- would you like cranberry, raisins or plain?

Raisins please argus! I'll open a jar of Clotted Cream and some strawberry and black pepper jam.

Re: The British Cheese Centre of Switzerland

Sorry I went off without saying good-bye, Grumpy. Thought I would go get some provisions from the Thai shop nearby before coming by your stall again, but, on the way back, saw the Zug-bound train nearby and hopped on it as the dog was already a tad tired of the big, crowded city.

At least I bought meself a puck of Godminster after being told the Welsh Lanark and orange-blue were sold out.

Glad to have chatted with a couple of the usual suspects.

Oh, and Grumpy. How could you let me leave without buying more of the brown ale? It was lovely.
