I think you probably mean Crissier near Lausanne.

There is a Cressier in Fribourg and another in Neuchâtel but sadly neither of those have Movenpick wine shops.
Thanks, just edited it. Looking forward to being down there next Sunday to practice my outrageously sexy French accent.

I think I will scout out the Expo next Sunday, if I am not cramming. Do you still do the little cheddar hearts? Is it at Palexpo?

The Expo is at La Praille shopping and event centre. And the cheese, you mean this one?

Re: The British Cheese Centre of Switzerland

I've just opened a Haford from south west Wales. A proper farm made, raw milk Bio cloth bound cheddar and it bites back. Seriously, I guess it's the best Cheddar I have ever tried.

Free tasters tonight, tomorrow and all weekend at my shop in the Viadukt market in Zürich!

We send by A Post to arrive the next day, just tell us when you would like the parcel to arrive.

We do have them from time to time, but to make them fresh commercially here, it's quite time consuming so the price is not very friendly. I have considered importing commercially made ones from the UK and freezing them. I'll look into that again in the new year, we do that with back bacon and it works well

Mate, the price somehow loses importance for things you otherwise can't get at all, you know?
So if you do make them please let me know - in advance preferably - and I'll come from Winterthur and get them.

Also the frozen-crumpets-idea you should proceed. I can't possibly be the only one who craves them?

Re: The British Cheese Centre of Switzerland

If you're in the Luzern area, we're at the Venite Christmas Market in the Kapellplatz from today until Sunday evening with some of our best selling cheeses, Scones and Clotted Cream, Christmas Cakes, Mince Pies and Christmas Puddings. To drink we have British Christmas Ales, English Sparkling Wines and our famous Hot Toddies!

When I worked in crumpet production (for too many years), we had a monthly order for an expat shop in Bermuda which was frozen before departing from Manchester airport. Unfortunately, that crumpet department closes it's doors for the last time in April.
