The Viadukt market in Zürich is open today from 11-8 and I'll be serving warm Mince Pies with Clotted Cream at my bar there as well as some great Scottish beer on tap and English Sparkling Wine. And if you follow us on FB, you'll see we're having a daily Advent Calendar offer, and today it's Long Clawson Blue Stilton in Ceramic for 19.00 instead of 27.00.
I also have lots of other great Christmas cheese offers including an Irish cheese tasting pack. We're delivering within Switzerland up until the 20th. | The following 2 users would like to thank grumpygrapefruit for this useful post:

A bit short notice, but I have 2 events on this weekend at the Viadukt market in Zürich.
Tonight there'll be a little Cheese Theatre at 6pm as I'll be opening these 2 babies: A 28Kg 20 month old Montgomery raw milk Cheddar and a 2 year old 20Kg Lincolnshire Poacher Vintage. There'll be free tastings of both of them until 8pm at our beer bar too!
And tomorrow from 14.00 - 18.00 there's a free tasting of 6 different port wines and 6 different British Blues (including the very rare and special Stichelton - the raw milk version of Stilton).
Hope you can make it!

We're open today until 5pm (but we'll no doubt be serving beer until 6!). I've sold out of Mince Pies and Xmas puds but have Christmas cakes left and plenty of cheese as well as Cumberland and Old Scottish sausages (sold out of back bacon I'm afraid)
This afternoon from 2 we'll be serving cheese nibbles and the last of our warm scones with clotted cream at the cheese bar for free!
Next week we're open Thursday, Friday and Saturday 09.00 - 20.00 and New Years Eve 09.00 - 17.00.
If you can't make it this afternoon, have a wonderful Christmas and thanks for supporting us!

I have a big selection of cheeses in my January sale again. A 1 kg pack of cheeses for 39.00 (usual price at least 65.00) and many other bargains.
Next month I'll be in Basel twice. First on the 10th for the Expat Expo and then on Wednesday 20th for a Beer and Cheese evening at Kitchen Brew microbrewery, Cheers!

I've had a new delivery from Jims Supermarket, now we have Oxo, Marmite, Treacle and Golden Syrup and Yorkshire Tea (normal and Gold). And finally, I have frozen Crumpets. I don't have much freezer space to won't be stocking a lot but hoping to get deliveries every 2 or 3 weeks from now.

I'll come by, probably Tuesday.
Now that is what I call customer-oriented business practices!
It took quiet a while from my first shout .... or was it a moan? LOL. But hey, I even got a hand-made batch during the makings!! Talk about customer care.
It's great joy to shop from someone who enjoys his job so much. Thanks grumpy.
Oh and thanks guys for putting up with my countless crumpet-posts. As you can see, persistence gets you anything. And if there is anything I am, it's persistent.

I have a new delivery of Irish and Scottish recipe sausages in the freezer and my Cheese of the Month at the shop is Baron Bigod. Suffolk is not a big dairy county but Fen Farm Dairy are changing that with their spectacular raw milk soft cheese - it's like a traditional Brie with attitude. 59.00 / Kg down from 66.00 until we sell out this month.
And if you're a lover of Stilton (and Port) I just released my first "Vblog" video just about Stilton cheese, where it comes from and how best to enjoy it. | The following 2 users would like to thank grumpygrapefruit for this useful post:

Some updates for Christmas!
We'll be open at the Viadukt Market from 11.00 - 18.00 on the following Sundays: Today, 8th and 22nd December. We close at 17.00 on the 24th and re-open as usual on the 27th.
Christmas Puddings and Mince Pies have just arrived and they'll be in the web shop on Monday. We'll be serving Mince Pies warm with Clotted Cream every weekend until Christmas (or until they sell out!)
Today, the market has a tent outside the front with Glühwein and entertainment for your little ones - they can decorate their own Gingerbread. 5.00 chf each, free tea for the parents!
On Thursday 5th we'll be open until 22.00 - the evening event is called "After Eight" and everyone in the market will have some special offers. I'll be serving Port with a generous slice of Stilton for 10.00.
Thursday 5th we'll be in the Gemeindsalle in Zumikon for the ICS School Christmas market from 13-18 and 12th - 15th we'll be in Luzurn for the Venite Christmas Market.
On Saturday 14th December from 13.00 - 18.00 I'll have my usual free Port and Stilton tasting - 6 Port wines including some "new to Switzerland" wines from Croft (inc a very special 2000 Vintage!) and 6 blue cheeses including Stitchelton, the raw milk version of Stilton.
There's already some Special Christmas Cheese packages in my web shop, you can place orders now for delivery any time up to Christmas. Last orders for normal A Post deliveries within CH is Wednesday18th in the morning. We'll be able to send some late parcels by Express Post on Monday 23rd.
Finally, I still have some free evenings for drinks and nibbles parties in the Markthalle. We can accommodate up to 30 people to enjoy cheese plates and other food from shops in the market with some great British Beers including my own brew "Prince of Ales YPA" and wines including English Sparkling wines from Gusbourne and Camel Valley.
The market is open from 09.00 - 20.00 but for private parties we can serve up till 21.00 or even later. We're next to Tramstop Damweg (4,6 and 13) and there's plenty of visitor parking along Viaduktstrasse.
Thanks, and have a great December and Cjhristmas!
