Re: [Aargau] Handyman @ your service

Joe is the greatest!! Here is my short..ish story:

I found Joe on the forum and after reading all the reviews and looking at his webpage I knew this was the guy for the job ahead.

Joe, his partner, Iris and I arranged everything whilst I was still in my home country, South Africa. They arranged an Ikea truck for me and when I arrived in Zug we were all ready to go ( Ikea of course ). I arrived in CH by myself with my 10 month old daughter.. knowing that I would struggle, missioning around on trains in the cold with my daughter, Joe offered to fetch me from my new home in Unterageri, ZG. Iris and her son, Bobby were waiting for us at Dietlikon, ready to lend a helping hand, with the enormous task ahead ( collecting and assembling flat pack furniture for a 6 room apartment)
Iris even fed my daughter for me while Joe, Bobby and I were running around Ikea from regal to regal (aisle) ;-) pulling in the heavy flat packs.

Joe is an expert when it comes to Ikea, he had everything assembled for me in no time. He was so friendly and professional and really is quite knowledgeable about CH. While he was here, he also wired up our lightfittings, hung mirrors and pictures and so kindly took all empty Ikea boxes away for me.

Joe, thank you so so so much!!! Iris and Bobby too, you all were so kind to me! I would have really struggled if it wasnt for all of you.

English Forum, you would be silly not to choose Joe for the Job!

I strongly recommend this guy. A very efficient and fast worker, Joe has also helped me organize a solution for my needs.
With his help, I have saved a lot of time and have been able to start living in my new flat in a very short time.

Thanks Joe!

Hi Everyone, firstly I would like to thank everyone for the excellent advice given on the forum. I moved from Scotland 19 months ago and at times felt lost. The info on here is of great benefit.
That said, I turned 54 at the beginning of Oct and am finding the job I do really strenuous, so I have decided to go it alone and do what I enjoy most.
I am happy to do most jobs ie: painting, woodwork, tiling, small electrical jobs, put up lights, self assembly furniture is my speciality,
I hope that, if things take off, I can expand this to collecting and delivering from places like Ikea .
I am fully insured according to Swiss requirements.
If I can help you please PM me
many thanks

Great going Joe! It's been really good reading all the rave reviews about your work. I only wish I had known about you when the office furniture needed delivering and assembling last year.

Have bookmarked your website for future reference and will definitely pass on the details to anyone I know or hear of that needs your services.

Cheers and all the very best.

Re: [Aargau] Handyman @ your service

I would like to record my appreciation for Joe's help in setting up my new apartment. He recently installed electric lights in my entire apartment and assembled some furniture. And, his assistance went much beyond as he also helped me with selecting the lights, picking up good spots for furniture placement, etc. His communication and project coordination skills are extremely professional and it was a pleasure to work with him.

I would recommend Joe to all English Forum members over and over again. Best Regards, Joe! You're the best!
